An assassin droid sent on a average assassination mission to tatooine, but in the scuffle was actually taken down and left to rust. it wasnt long until IG-64's "body" was taken by jawa's before they had a chance to dismantle him a passing man saw IG-64 and made a more than fair offer to buy him. for the next few weeks the man spent his time working in his doctor's office while tweaking the droid in his free time. finally he managed to clear the assassination protocols and add some of his own medical protocols, and once all the tweaks were completed he activated the droid. IG-64 came to with no recollection where he was or what his purpose was, that is until the man who introduce himself as Dr. Candurous Taske tought him how to make use for medical tools. it wasn't long until IG became his assistant in surgeries, which most of the citizens wasn't comfortable being operated on by an assassin model droid, but couldn't deny his medical skills. One day some thugs working for one of the crime families came in with serious injuries that no matter how hard Candurous operated, he was beyond saving. Even tho he gave his all the crime family wasn't happy and decided more than 1 would die that day. So it wasn't long until IG came back from picking up supplies from a nearby shop to see a burnt wreck waiting for him, and managed to find his only friend lying half dead in a pile of rubble. Candurous with his last breath told IG he had a good life and was glad he got to meet him, but please use your knowledge to help people and not for death. As he passed IG spent the day burying his friend, then packed up what medical supplied and equipment he had left and decided to set out from tatooine to find his place. And as he left his his burnt home, he decided to adopt the name Dr Phoenix as he walked from the Ashes.

Oath Life itself: The character believes that all life is sacred, and fights to prevent any unnecessary loss of life. Perhaps this character once slew enemies indiscriminately but has taken an oath to never kill again, or maybe the character is personally willing to shed blod, deeming it necessary to sacrifice the few to save the many. Whether or not this character personally kills other sentient beings, preservation of life is always the top priority.
