Special Abilities 1 Pau'ans begin the game with one rank in Negotiation or Coercion. They still cannot train Negotiation or Coercion above rank 2 during character creation.
Sensitive Hearing 1 Pau'ans add a boost die to all Perception and Vigilance checks they make as long as they are wearing their protective earpieces. If they are not wearing these earpieces, they do not gain the bonus, and they add a threat result to Perception and Vigilance checks they make instead.
Kill With Kindess 2 The character removes a setback dice per rank of Kill with Kindness from [their] Charm and Leadership checks.
Grit 1 Gain +1 Strain Threshold
Toughened 1 Gain +2 wound threshold.
Inspiring Rhetoric 1 The character may take the Inspiring Rhetoric action; making an Average difficulty Leadership check. For each success [result], one ally within close range recovers one strain. For each advantage [result], one ally benefiting from Inspiring Rhetoric recovers one additional strain.
Scathing Tirade 1 The character may take the Scathing Tirade action by making an Average difficulty Coercion check. For each success result, one enemy within short range suffers 1 strain.
