Background
I was born on Alderaan sixteen years before the outbreak of The Clone Wars. My mother was a university instructor and my father was a prominent businessman. I also have a sister, Vina, who is 4 years younger than me. My parents raised us to be intelligent and compassionate individuals, and placed a strong emphasis on formal academics. Early in my education, instructors recognized that I showed some promise with the Force and so I was sent to Coruscant to study with the Jedi.
I spent many years away from my dear family, learning about the ways of the Force, and during that time I gradually lost them all.
The first was my mother, who developed an incurable neurodegenerative condition just two years after I was sent to the Jedi Temple. I was just a novice at that time, and I almost abandoned the Jedi to return home and care for her. When she passed I was deeply ashamed, and for the longest time I blamed myself for abandoning her.
My sister, Vina, was a budding explorer with a wanderlust and a thirst for ancient knowledge, but she went missing seven years ago on an expedition into Wild space. She was always a strong-willed and enduring spirit, so I still hold on to the hope that she may yet be alive out there somewhere in the far reaches of the galaxy.
And my father was an outspoken political critic of the military buildup of the Republic Army. He disappeared without a trace months ago, and was presumably imprisoned and executed after the Emperor's rise to power.
Motivation
Cause: Restore the Jedi Order
Faith: Goodness of people
A stoic man of middle-age with weathered features. He has thin salt & pepper hair that hangs down to the neck and is often worn in a ponytail. He also has a bushy beard, much greyer than the hairs on his head. His lively blue eyes brim with equal parts curiosity and compassion, but he has a reserved manner and when he does speak he chooses his words carefully.
