Background
While scavenging for parts, the clan Kloh Thim belonged to inadvertently wandered into territory claimed by an aggressive tribe of Tusken Raiders. Kloh's clan were no match for the Tusken Raiders and were quickly slaughtered. Kloh was saved by the timely arrival of a crazy space wizard on a bender who tore into the Tusken Raiders with a drunken fury.
After several months of tutelage under this crazy hermit, Kloh began to manifest some of the abilities generally only held by the greatest of the female shamans among his people. When the crazy hermit seemed to tire of his cycle of drunken self-loathing, he sobered up and left his charge to return to other pursuits. The last thing the space wizard said to Kloh was "Goodbye, my padawan."
Kloh tried to track down his mentor, only to find that he had left the planet with someone he had only recently met.
Motivation
Kloh seeks to raise enough money to leave Tatooine and continue the search for his old mentor. To this end, Kloh has decided to become a bounty hunter as it seems the quickest path to raising the money. Kloh looks forward to the day he can continue his search and find his old mentor, or at least one of those neat laser-sword thingies he had.
Obligations
Oath: (??? obligation) The character has sworn some sort of oath that dictates his thoughts and actions, shaping his moral view of the world. This could be an oath to a deity, a way of living (such as the Jedi Code), or a willingness to sacrifice for the betterment of some group or cause. Whatever the case, the Oath should be both serious and make life difficult in some ways for the character. It is a personal and deep undertaking, possibly without a truly obtainable end goal in sight. Characters who do not live up to this oath face an internal and moral struggle.
Debt: (10 obligation) funds put forth by a patron who backed the character's entry into the Bounty Hunters' guild and expects to be repaid or services rendered.
