A Pantoran soldier in the Grand Army of the Republic, Soran was among many who found themselves prosecuting the Siege of Mandalore at the end of the Clone Wars. Critically wounded and left for dead by his Clone comrades for protecting their Jedi Commander during the execution of Order 66, Soran's "body" was recovered by warriors of Clan Farr.

Slowly, and painfully, over the next year Soran's rescuers nursed him back to health, and in time he accepted adoption into their Clan. In the decade since, he has taken to the stars in search of a means to free both of his worlds, Pantora and Mandalore, from the yoke of Imperial meddling.

5' 2" on a good day, Soran has taken a more pragmatic approach to his Mandalorian appearance than more traditionalist warriors. He knows that out in the wilds, especially in Imperial space, anonymity is a far more potent tool than notoriety.
