Taan served as a skywalker for a few years in the chiss ascendancy, after the empire took over she was moved to served and be tutored by a normal chiss admiral Mitth'raw'nuruodo. She worked under him for 3 years before being moved to a position on a imperial corvet, where she mostly did transport jobs. One day she got orders to search a transport ship which held a few refuges her men were ordered to execute them since there was a jedi hidden among them. Due to her complaints she was demoted but did take a souvenir from the jedi to remember the slaughter that befell the refuges.

Her demoted position was as a simple survey officer upon finding a rebel member through the surveyed communication she instead of reporting him chose to go there herself. After a long speech from the rebel operative she decided to defect from the empire and was later vetted before being introduced to a rebel cell. After being vetted she was assigned to recruit more members due to her previous experience in the Empire she was given a higher position in the rebelion. After some time she received world of empire forces being attacked on a planet to which she traveled and was contacted by a very powerful figure on the planet known as Brack.

Belief Progress: The Empire's tight control of galactic commerce has made it hard for anyone outside the Imperial military to
create or acquire new technology. The Player Character believes that the only way to bring a new era of progress to the
galaxy is to remove the Emperor from power.

Quest Redemption: The Player Character seeks to atone for past sins or mistakes by serving in the Alliance. He may have served in
the Empire: he may have been a criminal, bounty hunter, or followed some other pursuit that caused him to take actions he
now regrets. Helping the Rebellion may be a way to regain his self-worth.

Recruiting: Every engagement with the Empire is a war of attrition, and that is a war the Rebellion simply cannot win.
Nonetheless, more people must be found to serve, and they are needed in every capacity. Not only does the Alliance
military need more soldiers and pilots, it needs more technicians, engineers, mechanics, scientists, doctors, slicers, and
just about every other kind of worker. This Player Character understands the risks of recruitment, as well as the needs,
and is constantly on the lookout for allies who are both talented and trustworthy.
