Background

Born to a family of colonists from Yag'dhul, Evard Munkes left behind the Outer Rim ball of mud and hardship to attend Byblos Academy of Medicine to better be able to help his colony prosper and thrive. Unfortunately, he began school during the rise of the Empire, and the rulers seeing the way the winds were blowing, threw in their lot with the Empire. Soon into his second year at the Academy, all non-humans were unceremoniously banned from classes and, days later, from Byblos itself.
On his way to the shuttle to his colony, Evard saw an opportunity for revenge pouring some of the more potent chems he managed to leave school with into the meal of a group of young Imperials were enjoying. Horrified by the mess the chems made of the men, he vowed to never use his knowledge for such violent ends. Fleeing Byblos, he refrained from returning home lest he bring Imperial attention to his family and fellow colonists. Instead he bounced from ship to spaceport to backwater offering his services as a Doctor until he fell into a regular crew, always keeping one eye out for any Imperial or bounty hunter that might be looking to earn some quick creds.

Motivation

Evard is determined to share the medicinal knowledge he was able to gain first in the university before his expulsion and the new tricks he's learned in his adventures staying one step ahead of the empire

Obligations

Pacifism 5 Evard takes his Oath as a Doctor very seriously unwilling to cause any sentient being direct harm. He is still haunted by the ill-advised revenge he took on the Imperials that kicked him out of medical school.
