Background
Born in the year 150BBY, Drugah is still relatively young for a Dowutin. He was always large, even compared to other Dowutin, and as most of his species do Drugah used to value physical size and strength over all else. Though he lived by the nomadic ways of his people, Drugah always felt there was more to life and more to the galaxy then what he could find on his home planet. He felt a calling to find out more about the galaxy that he could never fully explain, not that he ever really tried. Drugah left his home world after some slavers were dumb enough to try to capture and sell him. Needless to say it didn't go well for the slavers who in the end were turned into something that resembled a puddle of red jello. After that incident Drugah again started feeling a pull to find out more about the galaxy, but this time it was as if he was being pulled in two distinct directions at the same time. He couldn't explain it, and there was no knowledge on his home world that could explain it, so Drugah booked passage off of Dowut on one of the few ships that visit the planet. He found every ship cramped and too small for him, but he eventually got used to travelling in such claustrophobic conditions around the tiny creatures that inhabited the galaxy. Traveling blindly he found work and money wherever he could, which sometimes consisted of protecting lesser creatures (much to his disdain) and sometimes he made money in fighting pits. Drugah regularly would fight five or more of one of the lesser species in an attempt to even the odds, but even at those numbers he was never overwhelmed. In the year 23BBY Drugah happened to find himself on a remote planet in the Outer Rim that was in a state of civil war. This provided a lot of opportunities for work, but the work didn't have much meaning , it was just a means to an end. A way to make some money so he could continue looking for...whatever it was that was calling to him. But during this time Drugah experienced something that he had never seen before. He witnessed the Jedi. A small Jedi force had been dispatched to the planet to help bring peace to the war torn world, but several things went wrong during the mission and the Jedi found themselves part of the conflict. When that happened, Drugah found what he had been looking for. When he witnessed these small and fragile beings of the galaxy suddenly become masters of combat and perform feats that even a Dowutin had to respect, he was completely taken aback. And enamored. He suddenly felt his whole life come into focus. He had a purpose, and as a Dowutin tends to do, he decided that nothing would get between him and attaining that power. After a year of working all kinds of jobs to try to get enough money to travel to the core and find the Jedi, the Clone Wars started. This put all of his plans on hold as the entire galaxy was plunged into conflict. During this time Drugah took every mercenary job he could find and made a bit of a name for himself in the merc world. While the Clone War raged on, Drugah never forgot what he saw when the Jedi fought. Power. Strength, Ferocity. When the Clone Wars finally came to an end Drugah thought he could finally find what he had been looking for, but the Galactic Empire emerged from the ashes. Drugha would have gladly signed up with the side who bested the Jedi in combat, they had to be stronger then the Jedi who were like nothing Drugah had ever seen before. But The Empire blockaded Dowut and, since he had made a name for himself in mercenary circles, sent a small team after "The big Dowutin with an axe". They tried to repeat the foolish task of taking him as a slave and....it did not end well for the Imperial team. Even though Dowutins are rare in the wider galaxy, the fact that they were never really part of the galactic government, and that they all look the same to outsiders, made it hard for The Empire to track Drugah and he was able to escape and remain relatively anonymous after that. Since then, he has been in the outer rim and stayed as far away from the core as he could. While it's unlikely that The Empire has records on him and/or a way to identify him, Drugah doesn't want to risk it. Although the Jedi are gone, Drugah has never forgotten what he saw and he has spent his time slowly, carefully, and quietly gathering information on the Jedi and their ways. He still can't shake the feeling of being pulled in two different directions. He feels power calling to him, but he also feels..something else. Something almost noble that he would never have explored on Dowut, and it intrigues him. Right now he doenst know where to turn, but is willing to take work wherever it comes from. He is also hoping to find exotic locations where he can gain more information on the Jedi and the secrets their order held.
Motivation
Morality
Bravery: The character's bravery is quite remarkable. Whether facing down a charging rancor or racing into a burning building to save innocents, he is always willing to take risks to help others.
Anger: Hot blood, however, can easily lead to hot tempers. The character is quick to anger, and what he cannot deal with face-to-face can often frustrate him to the point of rage.
