Background
B1-D5 was stamped together in the Akiva Droid Factory in the early years of the war. He scored a D+ in tactical acumen and a C- in marksmanship, making him prime officer material. B1-D5's career path came to a screeching hault when his commander, Admiral Trench, threw him out of an airlock after a poorly timed sarcastic comment.
B1-D5 floated in standby mode for years until being picked up by a merchant ship. The merchants allowed B1-D5 to manage their books for several years, until the droid had earned enough to buy his freedom, and a small groundcar that had been collecting dust in the cargo bay.
Motivation
When B1-D5 was released by the space merchants, he was disappointed he lost the war, but is also guided by a new set of principles. Buy low, sell high. Take joy from profit, and profit from joy. Enough is never enough.
Obligations
B1-D5 still has persistent programming he can suppress but not fully delete guaranteeing his allegiance to the CIS. Though he hasn't received orders in decades, if someone in his old command structure issues him an order, he will be required to obey.
More recently, B1-D5 has been traveling across Vanqor, buying and selling during the tourist season. While at a small cantina he was approached by an irate former clone soldier. B1-D5 had seen enough of clones and sped off at the earliest opportunity. Unknown to B1-D5, this aging clone troopers is Six Fingers. He got his name because he has six fingers on each hand. He also was an accomplished ARC Trooper during the war, and is losing his grip on reality as he ages. For days or weeks at a time Six Fingers will forget the war is over, and try to track down B1-D5, the first separatist he's seen in years.
Description
B1-D5 sports a fashionable red undercoat with yellow circle and head plating. The droid sports a number of abrasions, but they represent damage taken from wind storms, rather than any battle damage.
