Kel was born on Ord Mantell to human parents. He worked in his father's shop for a while before trying to travel in space. He served on many different crews of freighters and developed a knack for changing different parts of his vessel. Most of his trips were smooth sailing. However on a recent trip he was captured by a pirate warlord. The pirates made him choose between death and working on their ship. While working on their ship, Kel managed to disable it and escape. In the process he may have accidentally crashed the ship outside of a paint factory which may or may not have colored the ship and its crew in interesting colors. He's been running from them since them and will do anything to get on a new crew to make some money.

Kel is motivated by a desire to see as many different starships as possible and to save money to one day own a small trading company and then comfortably retire. He's also looking for a girlfriend/wife.

5ft 10 Human male, black hair, brown eyes, age around 22 (though he looks more mature), weighs about 155 and is solidly built. He likes to examine different starships and droid and gets nervous around species he can't understand. He enjoys being with different crews but will leave if offered more money or a better opportunity elsewhere, unless he owes the crew something, in which case he will stay until that obligation is completed.
