Background

Macie is a battle hardened astromech who was forced to become a pilot in her own right following the collapse of the republic.

The skirmishes of order 66 led to catastrophic life-support failure on board the jedi cruiser she was assigned to and the destruction of her general and crew. Macie, whose forward-thinking general had thought to include complex piloting knowledge in he programming, was able to escape and take refuge in the outer rim.

She was however later captured by pirates, marking the beginning of a series of begrudging service and daring escapes. She would stand firm and forge her place in a world that now full of malice towards her kind, alone until the fateful day when she would form the Lawgiver's crew.

Motivation

She strives to be free. To have the means and the power to live by her own rules and keep hold of her fragile place.

Obligations

The bounty on her head was small at first, but as no one was able to keep hold of her longer than a week, it ended up rising with each repeated escape. She may be working on a plan to destroy the pirates who held her captive and plunder their operations for all they're worth. A droid never forgets, after all.
