Background
Sid grew up in Sonor on the planet of Sonoran, his father the head of a mechanics team and his mother a doctor. Though he had a privileged background, Sid spent most of his youth learning the inner workings of speeders and the transport ships his father's team would build or repair. Eventually when he was of age, Sid enlisted in the Khoran Guard. He showed aptitude for vehicular warfare over infantry combat and found himself in command of his own speeder bike squadron. During the prelude towards the Clone Wars, Sid found himself being thrown into the civil war that consumed his planet. With each engagement, he grew more into the role of command though received no formal training. When the Republic dispatched Clone Commandos and a Jedi General to assist in training the soldiers, Sid was given command of his own tank to battle the Da'san battle droids.
During an engagement where the Da'san forces ambushed the Khoran Guard, the tank column Sid was apart of was split apart and the commanding officer was killed in the first few opening shots. With Sid seizing command of the remaining operational tanks, the survivors managed to hold off the onslaught of droids assaulting their position. In recognition for his actions, Sid was promoted to commanding the tank column once it was back to fighting strength. When the 33rd Clone Legion arrived in the system to fight against the Separatist onslaught, Sid's knowledge of the terrain managed to keep the momentum of victory steady.
With the end of the Republic and the rise of the Empire, Sid and the rest of the Khoran Guard were integrated into the 33rd Stormtrooper Division. Afterwards, Sid's life turned from war to riot suppression. Despite enforcing martial law, Sid made sure soldiers under his command never resorted to overly brutal and extreme tactics. Only when the Da'san would resort to extreme measures did Sid loosen the leash on his soldiers and fight fire with fire. With the inclusion of walkers into the 33rd, a lot of Sid's soldiers were retrained to accommodate.
During the second insurgency, after many old Khoran Guard members joined with the Da'san, Sid was faced with an issue. His soldiers were lacking in resources to be able to face the threat head on. Utilizing the roaming sandstorms Sanoran suffered from, Sid's rode out at the head of a column of AT-FRC walkers. Leading a series of counteroffensives to harass and disrupt the battle line, his walkers scattered the insurgent forces. However, upon returning back to the headquarters of the garrison, Sid discovered all credit of the victory was taken by General Tiers. Despite the blow to his pride, the sergeant continued to play his part in quelling the insurgency. However, unlike many other detachments of the 33rd who fought alongside Hutt soldiers, Sid would only do so out of necessity.
With his services being required constantly during the civil war after the destruction of the Death Star and Sonaron undefended, a lot of the 33rd look towards Sid for leadership. The general, now Grand Moff Tiers of the 13-OSM, has left on a counter-offensive. The remaining 33rd Battlegroup Combined Forces are surrounded and it's only a matter of time before they make it through the defenses of the planet.
