Background
Poly and her twin sister were the youngest of a large family. Raised in quite a competitive atmosphere, Poly always strived to be the best in anything she set herself to.
Her passion was speed, the thrill of it. She naturally gravitated towards starships. So as soon as she was of acceptable age she signed up for the Imperial Navy. Due to her, non-human status she was rejected. Dejected, she returned home to find her family had been removed from their home, and into "government issued housing" to make room for more Imperial military industry.
As life went on, Poly began to notice more and more, her family, her species, all non-human species were getting the short end of the stick in every aspect of life. It was around this time she first heard of the "Alliance to Restore the Republic". She packed her bags, said goodbye to her family and joined the cause.
