Born Aldooni Lauruskmar, only taking the more Galactic-Basic friendly name Aldis Bayrune after having escaped slavery by the strength of limb and mind.
Born to Muska the Runesmith, at the time freshly exiled after the dishonor her lifemate Watoondi had done upon the chiefdom. Aldis has little to no connection nor memory of his father.
Aldis' younger years were spent upon his mother's breast, in a constant state of survival, first in the green jungles of Lasan, and later in the metal jungles of ever the changing spaceports Aldis would later come to recognize as something akin to home.
At age 6, Muska passed away of a sickness, leaving Aldis alone on the streets of Nar Shadaa. Being a capable enough urchin, Aldis soon found himself employed by the hutt, narrowly side-stepping his first window into slavery.
In his time as a thief, informant, and runner for the cartel, Aldis made his first connection to the Force at age 8. Having been considerably hardened by his novice trails and travails, he was a head taller and a band thicker than the other urchins his age. When a younger boy, Pid Farha, whom Aldis considered to be his pupil taken-under-wing was assaulted by two older urchins for his wage, something awoke in Aldis. This eye-opening was, as is proper, of both chiralities, complete, of yin and yang. Great compassion and bravery stirred the young Lasat to the depths of a love and excellence for violence.
His remaining years working for the Hutts on Nar Shadaa were spent as an enforcer and thug among the urchins, who enthusiasticaly provided opportunity for Aldis to develop his violent nature.
However, being a fast-maturing Lasat, Aldis by age 12 was sold into slavery by his employer. Sold to a wealthy corporate baron from Kashyyyk as rare alien stock for prize fighting games, Aldis developed an anchoring connection to the Dark-Side in a festering hatred for domineering humankind. He honed his knack for personal violence in his master's illicit death sports arena to entertain the interstellar corporate nobility visiting Kashyyyk.
Hatred - Against Humanist imperials, nobility, and kowtowing governments.

6'11, a head taller than the average human, but not especially for a Lasat.
Wide, rippling, barbaric thuse, well maintained but not overly sculpted. Powerful Bruce Lee sized latissimus dorsi and thunderstorm thighs combine with this Lasat's prehensile toe thumbs and rote grip strength to allow for unparalleled scamper-climbing. This practical natural advantage's good use is evidenced in the mazey series of laceration scars in seemingly impossible angles sloppily tattooing his simian form.
In colder climes, (as he insists the thermospanner on the ship be set) he adorns heavy furs that fit so well they may have come from a humanoid creature, if one had never encountered either species and knew not the identifying phenology, they might confuse this Lasat for a Wookie. On mission, an oversized hafted Gammoreon Vibroblade Ax is slung sinister over a bulky square backpack Comlink unit such that the head of the axe and balance point of the harness rests just above the center of the backpack.
