Background

Talzak Golec was born on the frontier plant of Jakelia. His parents were former politician and left public service a few years after the Galactic Empire came to power. They became outspoken activists seeking the return to the more peaceful ideals. Seeking a life without Imperial influence, they resettled on Jakelia.

As two of the most educated within the remote frontier village, his parents became teachers and his mother eventually became the town mayor of the village named Mavoriya (“Free city” in basic). In addition to teaching, his father also provided transportation of supplies from other worlds by transporting and selling local goods, such as skins, teeth, and meat from local fauna. Growing up, Talzak learned to hunt and track wildlife on Jakelia. A few years before the Battle of Endor, the young man defied his parents’ wishes and left Jakelia to join the Rebellion.

Challenges: Liberation - Talzak Golec works against oppression of all kinds. Harsh masters, domineering societies, even overzealous companions can spark the need to rise up against oppression and liberate the helpless.

Duties

Duty - Support - Individually, the lone agents of the Alliance don't stand a chance against the combined might of the Galactic Empire. Only by working together can they hope to achieve a victory in this civil war. Talzak Golec is devoted to helping fellow Rebels fulfill their Duties by providing whatever assistance they need. Although he might not get the same amount of reward or recognition as the people he is helping, he has many more opportunities than his fellows to fulfill his Duty to the Rebellion.
