Background
Puk-Puk was a Jawa born in 7725 CRC on the desert planet Tatooine. He was a member of the Tuu clan, whom wore purple robes in contrast to the typical brown robes of other Jawa clans. He and his clan more commonly went to the populated cities of Tatooine to offer denizens and visitors repairs to their ships and droids, as well as parts in return for credits. To more easily converse with members of other species, Puk-Puk built a translator droid from scrap and plugged in a language chip to access thousands of forms of communication.
When not selling junk or fixing mechanical objects, Puk-Puk and his Tuu clan enjoyed creating music, commonly by smacking scrap together, as well as combinations of techniques to create a tune. Puk-Puk quite enjoyed making music and uploaded performances into his droid's playback memory.
One day, the Tuu clan went to Anchorhead and came across a group comprised of an Ardennian, Mon Calamari, and frog woman. Puk-Puk quickly rushed to them to offer repairs and junk before they could go anywhere. As he peeked inside his ship as he spoke, he noticed musical instruments placed on the back of the wall up the ramp. Puk-Puk dropped his discussion of repair offers to point out the instruments, saying in his Jawa Trade Language: "I couldn't help but see the instruments that are yours! I play music with clan of mine," and then reached for his droid and played back some of the music they performed.
For what they had, the Tuu clan's music sounded decent. Puk-Puk thought that the three spacers took a liking to him, and wondered what it might be like to get off Tatooine, as some other clans did. Hesitantly, Puk-Puk asked "Do you three have room for one Jawa that is me?" Puk-Puk's droid bumped into him intentionally and the Jawa added, "And one hover droid...Not only are we a great band, but can repair ships as well!"
Surprisingly, the three accepted. Puk-Puk was excited, but also worried. He would be leaving his clan behind. As he stared back to them and explained where he was going, he told them that he would return eventually, and show them how good he could be at music. He promised he would pass on all he knew to help his clan become the biggest band on Tatooine. He said goodbye and prepared to leave his home planet.
With all his belongings on his back and his droid in tow, Puk-Puk journeyed aboard the ship with one of the spacers as the other two did what they came to Tatooine for. Once everyone was back, everyone introduced themselves and Puk-Puk began to see that he would enjoy creating music with these people. As they took off, Puk-Puk's first time leaving Tatooine, the stars filled his eyes and he was mesmerized as the blue swirl of hyperspace entered his vision.
