Background
1)How did you discover your force sensitivity?
He first discovered he was force sensitive on a family dig. He was from an archeologist family like so many of the Polis Massan, researching their origin as a species. He came across an artifact and as soon as he touched it, it provoked a vision. A vision bleak filled with untold destruction and death. It came to him in a fever.
2)Describe a moment where you fell prey to your moral weakness or experienced a tragedy/horror that still haunts you.
He did not tell anyone of his visions, tried to dismiss them as dreams. He lied to himself that day, and to others. It was his first deception, something rare within Massan culture.
He has been plagued with a reccuring vision, the same vision as the day he touched the object. An object he now fiendishly seeks to find, lost now to time and bureaucracy.
This lie, a lie of omission, and a sense of dread has now permeated his life.
3)How did you come to join the NJO?
To seek answers he has left his home and ventured into the greater Galaxy, having to now face its cruelty, trying to hunt down answers? Finding clues it might he the force
He begins his pilgrimage to the Jedi Order school. Desperate to learn from them, hoping his quest for answerers will find resolution there.
4)Describe a moment in your life where you demonstrated your moral strength despite adversity.
It took courage for Morl Oush'n-Do to leave his home, it took tenacity to hunt for answers and humility to humbly submit himself to the wisdom that might be found at the New Jedi Order.
His family pressured him to stay. Lovingly but insistent. The galaxy proved rough. More than once was he tricked or pick pocketed, beat up or lost and hungry. But he preserved driven to find an answer, and to hopefully prevent this vision from coming to pass.
5)Name one NPC your character has a strong connection with. This could be a family member, a friend, a work contact, or a bitter rival
His family is worried. Especially his sister. A constant call to return home, the guilt pulling like gravity upon Morl. The end of the civil war means a blossoming of the family archeology practice. They worry about him, the strange influences of the un-communal and uncooperative peoples of the galaxy.
---------------------
Morl lived most his life, as others of his kind do, in a communal society. He doesn't much understand the violent and deceptive ways of other species.
The galactic civil war showed the young polis massan the violence and destruction outsiders are capable of.
He struggles with how to stay communal and caring in a galaxy full of conflict and greed.
He suffers from a reoccurring vision of impending doom, of horror and death, is it a warning?
What will young Morl do to stop it from becoming a reality? Will he embrace the violence and destruction he condemns. Will he give up on the communal compassion he grew up with, will he find a middle ground? Or will he hide from responsibility?
Motivation
Quest: To understand and prevent his vision from becoming reality.
Morality
46
Dedication: Morl is dedicated to protecting the galaxy from the outcome of his visions at all costs. This includes learning and studying the force in all its manifestations.
Self doubt: Morl still battles with the shame of his lie. And of what might have been known if he hadn't of pretended nothing happened. Would that artifact have been recovered, studied? Did he condemn the world to destruction by his fear to act? He knows he will be forced to face this shame if he is accepted into the Order..
