DEFINITION: Spies and assassins may need to get a powerful weapon through security checkpoints or into restricted areas. To do this, breaking down a weapon can allow an agent to bring something through a checkpoint unimpeded.

FUNCTION: Weapon can be broken down into pieces and disguised. Requires a Formidable (5 difficulty) Mechanics or Skullduggery check to deduce the items are weapon parts.

COMPONENTS: Com link, glow rod, data-pad stylus, hydro-spanner, fusion cutter.

Note: The upgrade is flawed, reducing the assembled weapon's damage by 2 points. The L7's agitator had to be removed due to its' lack of a second hardpoint.

Personal Gear

Agent's Bag: The agent's bag is a reference to any case used by a variety of agencies and governments to distribute important equipment necessary for a mission. They are armoured and sensor-resistant, sometimes even contain stun fields to prevent theft.

x4 Mem-Stik: This is a common device, as small as a little finger and unpowered, the mem-stik is a data storage device. They are used all over the galaxy, by spies and regular people alike.

x3 Dataspike: This common tool used by technicians and spies is capable of overloading a computer's security systems. This allows a user to then proceed with hacking with greater ease. Once per round, may expend a dataspike to disable a security program as a maneuver. Reduce the difficulty of subsequent Computers checks to disable the program by 2. The dataspike is then useless.

Toxin Detector: Assassination by Poison is one of the dangers faced by nobles, politicians and other notable figures. This Tiny handheld device scans food and drink to determine if it is spoiled or contains Poison. Using the device requires a Standard Action. It has a range of one square and contains data for up to 100 different Species. The Toxin Detector can be set to blink a light (Green for safe food and red for dangerous) or to vibrate slightly when a toxin is detected. For an additional 100 credits, the Toxin Detector can be disguised as a bracelet or other piece of jewelry for maximum discretion.

x2 Earbud Comlink: This small comlink is convenient for users that need their hands free or a more inconspicuous form of communication. Usable at long range. Noticing the earbud comlink requires a Hard (3 difficulty) Perception check.

* x2 Comlink: This piece of gear is used to communicate between other comlinks. The handheld versions are only viable for extreme distances on planets, reaching up to low orbit. However, long range versions can usually reach the entire planet in range. Hand held. Long Range. * One silver Comlink is the L7 component.

Holo-messenger: This is a small hightech piece of equipment which takes the comlink to a new level. It allows a holographic display to be sent along with the message, and may send a pre-recorded or continuous transmission. They have the range of a long range comlink.

x2 Stimpack: These are one-use applicators which inject a special cocktail into a character's system which allows them to continue fighting despite their wounds. Using a stimpack heals 5 wounds for the first application, 4 on the next and so on. It takes 24 hours for stimpacks to perform at full effectiveness again, after the last application.
