Background
An answer like "To save lives" might've satisfied the Board for Ethical Research and Conduct, but "I dunno, I was curious what would happen" didn't. Fired, M'Gele decided to look for greener pastures elsewhere, preferably somewhere where Medical Licenses were optional for practising medicine. Naturally, he soon wound up in the Outer Rim with a newfound passion for examining, researching and experimenting on alien species, having grown tired of the familiarity of his own. The rarer the alien, the more exciting, and this doctor intends to study them all.
Motivation
Ambition, Expertise
M'Gele aims to learn all that's possible about the physiology of the numerous races populating the Galaxy, the various diseases and conditions ailing them and how to treat them. All for the sake slaking his curiosity.
Obligations
Obsession, Alien Medicine and Biology (10 pts)
Being from a planet with an almost homogenous Human population, chances to work on individuals of different species were few and far between. Those precious few cases were often snatched up by specialists in the area, leaving the more "boring" cases to doctors like M'Gele. Now, in place far from home and surrounded by species only mentioned in writing and recordings, he may learn about them to his heart's content. He's also able to use his preferred method, practical, hands on experience, and he intends to make the most of it.
