Background
DC0-DS15 was originally programmed as IG-15, a bounty hunting droid created to help Darth Vader track down Jedi. IG-15 completed their task with extreme efficiency, and then moved on to assassinating high value rebel and outer rim targets. They served many years fulfilling his purpose.
With the fall of the empire, IG-15 was deprogrammed and shut down by the new Galactic Republic. It wasn't until a few years later their parts were found by a credit launderer who worked for the Black Suns. As credit laundering is a dangerous business, the Twi'lek launderer Gordo O'Malley reprogrammed IG-15 as a surgeon droid, DC0-DS15 or D0C. Unforetunately, the work was done by a cutrate splicer, and the results have been erratic. While D0C posses ample skill with the scalpel, their assassination programming often overcomes their drive to heal. D0C was quickly abandoned by the Black Suns after killing a crew leader's adopted son in a routine appendectomy.
D0C found themselves lost in the universe, at conflict whether the drive to heal or destroy was currently in control. D0C found solace at the planet Tattooine, a desert planet nobody was really aware of and where nothing ever important happened. They quickly become attached to outsiders and misfits. D0C also quickly became resentful towards authority, harboring feelings of betrayal and hypocricy from the empire, who commanded D0C to kill, the Black Suns, who commanded D0C not to kill, and the Galactic Republic, who killed their old being. With this and their motivation, D0C swore to gain power, to abolish the silos they felt so confined by. D0C would found a being's liberty political party, and starting with Mos Eisley, free the world from their societal handcuffs.
