Background
Born on Nar Shaddaa, Jace Roy decided that one day, he would get out of this planet and make something out for himself. Unlike many of his friends, he would try and find some way to make that happen. He would run with a gang made by Zay Koax for a while before moving onto other crime lords
As the Republic would square off against the Confederacy, Jace would soon get that chance when after he got in trouble with the law after a bungled job, was offered a choice between serving his time in a prison or being a "specialist" in a clone unit.
He would take that chance, and served in the Clone Wars, where he would find out his penchant for pistol shooting. On his tour of duty, he was wounded and sent to a hospital ship to recuperate. There, he met with Elise Elspite, who was serving as a nurse at that time. They hit it off, and decided to be together when his service was up near the end of the war.
When the Republic won and turned to the Empire, Jace decided that going back to Nar Shaddaa wasn't necessary. In his mind, he managed to get out of that place through his own service and start living a life of peace with Elise. Unfortunately for Jace, things would take a dark turn.
Danjo Frelien, son of Nar Shaddaa crime boss Malto Frelien, would unexpectedly come into the picture when he eyed Jace's airspeeder for a night out with a stolen car. In Danjo's mind, it was taking a speeder from some unknown colonist out there so he could have some fun during business.
When Jace came back home after work, he found his home ransacked, a speeder gone, and Elise heavily injured. Despite attempts to get her to a doctor, Elise would die in his arms.
Distraught, Jace eventually found out Danjo was responsible, and he knew where to look for him. After all, he worked for Malto, and the bungled job that landed him in this situation in the first place. He sold all he had left to charter a flight to Nar Shaddaa.
And so, he's headed back to the place he never wanted to be. After searching, rumors have circulated that Danjo is here. And yet, there are rumors that several of his childhood friends are starting to make a new group in the streets...
