Ink Spray 1 Strongholds of Resistance Once per encounter, suffer 2 strain to add 1 setback (3 if underwater) die to a combat check made by a character within short range.
Dodge 1 AoR Core When targeted by a combat check (ranged or melee) the character may choose to immediately perform a Dodge incidental to suffer a number of strain, them upgrade the difficulty of the combat check by that number. The number of strain suffered cannot exceed his ranks in Dodge.
Defensive Stance 1 AoR Core One per round on the character’s turn, the character may perform a Defensive Stance maneuver to assume a defensive stance against incoming melee attacks. He then suffers a number of strain no greater than his ranks in Defensive Stance. Until the start of the character’s next turn, upgrade the difficulty of all melee combat checks targeting the character a number of time equal to the strain suffered by the character in this way.
Frenzied Attack 1 AoR Core When making a Melee or Brawl combat check, the character may suffer a number of strain, then upgrade the ability of his combat check by that number. The number cannot exceed his ranks in Frenzied Attack.
Soft Spot 1 AoR Core After making a successful attack with a non-starship/vehicle weapon, the character may spend one Destiny Point to add damage equal to his Cunning to one hit of the successful attack.

Background

Raised on a colony far from Dac, Jarek faced the hard truths of living in an unprotected colony during the Clone Wars. Following the end of the conflict, his planet was left ravaged and razed by both Republic and Separatist forces alike. Taken
in by the promises of the empire to bring peace, order, and security; Jarek enlisted and was quickly recruited into the ISB.

Description

Twenty seven years old, lean and teal skinned. His inner right tentacle has a long faded scar running down the lower part of it that wraps around and intersects a few missing suction cups, a childhood injury that has healed well with time. Jarek's full height is 1.8 meters but a gentle slouch brings him down to 173cm. His appearance is otherwise ambiguous to other species.

Other Notes

Cover Story: In his service as an imperial trooper during the Imperial Expansion, Jarek learned the basics of combat. In an attempt to distance himself from his past he learned his way around computer systems and made a small name for himself in the outer rim as a competent slicer. Recently he has found himself in the pay of a local Hutt doing data cleanup for undisclosed business.
