Grubb knows fighting. Fighting is Grubb's life. Born on a small, ugly, and undesirable planet his tribe of Gamorrean's were one of over 30 fighting for planetary control.

Grubb was a stout melee fighter and quickly rose from a basic private to an advanced fighter. Although not very intelligent he could bash his way out of almost any situation. When words failed, which they did often, steel won.

Grubb's recent history is one of disgrace, while fighting in the Mor'hok region on his planet his drop ship was destroyed and he was left floating on a broken section into space. He watched his the explosions his his home planet knowing that he should be there dead with his fallen brothers. Grubb's floating wreckage was picked up by Igor Volchenkov who put him in service as a guard.

Grubb rarely speaks, when he does it is often lacking in intelligence, when people laugh he hits.

He feels as though he is a deserter, although no fault of his he feels like he should be dead and lives life with reckless abandon.
