Background
The Force is art. At least, that’s always how it’s been for Dayen Sorn. Born to the Pwansun clovoc on Phatrong, Dayen was a rare specimen among the kyuzo, who have produced so few Force sensitives in their time. Early on, Dayen trained as a medic and a doctor, using his natural affinity with medicine to heal the sick and help the needy. The Force, or as he knew it, the Art, was always secondary to his experience, and something that he only used under times of duress.
When a Rebel support campaign came to his village on Phatrong, Dayen almost immediately joined the campaign, offering up his abilities as a medic to the cause. Dayen trained with a Rebel drop squadron, going in and patching up fighters while on the field, and quickly becoming disillusioned with war. Dayen wishes to help people, but he sees nothing but needless death on both sides. There is no Art without a painter, and as the war with the Empire grows to a crescendo, so too does the conflict within Dayen’s heart. He stays with the Rebels, for now, because he believes in their cause. But war is a cruel and bloody mistress, and Dayen wishes to bring as swift an end to it as possible.
Motivation
Help the Helpless: In a galaxy full of momentous events and desperate struggle, it is all too easy to forget the poor, the weak, and the downtrodden. Dayen seeks to give voice to the voiceless, and help those who can’t help themselves.
Duties
Morality [50]: Compassion/Sorrow. Dayen has a great love for all life, believing that all things are connected and deserve to know peace. However, this can lead to him being overwhelmed with the pain in the world, allowing his sorrow to paralyze, or worse, affect his use of the Force.
Description
Dayen is a tall, lanky Kyuzo, standing well over an average human. He wears a crimson headress atop his head, adorned with carved beads and trinkets of his own design. He wears his own modified Rebel medic’s armor, carrying his pack and others by his side.
Dayen is soft-spoken and gentle, seeking to not cause undo harm unless needed. He is wise and understanding when he needs to be, but can often let his compassion or sympathy get in the way of his decision making.
