Background

Coyo's father was a Jedi scholar who was especially talented with the Force Power Forsee, and as such, was among the small handful of Force Sensitives who tried to see through the smoke of the dark side but were unable to perceive the exact events of Order 66 and the Rise of the Empire.
He left the order when he was told to silence himself, and set out to find a force-sensitive to train to fight this mysterious dark creature that lurked beyond the horizon. (In his sleep, Coyo could hear his father mutter horrid and blood-soaked tragedies that would be committed by the empire, which he consistently referred to as the great serpent.)
The seekers were not known for their failures, however. After a set of years searching for a proper pupil, the man settled down with a woman in the far-flung reaches of the outer rim.
Marriage and a newborn child gave the man a sort of peace that he had been searching so desperately for, and for a time, he was truly happy.
That came crashing down one day, however, when the ex-Jed knight noticed that his toddler son gave a ripple in the force when he started to cry.
Could this be the talented hero-to-be that he had earlier struggled to find?
No.
Coyo's mother died of natural causes when Coyo was only a couple of years old and with the ever-increasing violence of the clone wars, the father was slowly losing himself to rage and insanity.
By the time Coyo was able to learn to use a blade and tap into the force, his father was already too far gone to teach him properly, and his lessons were disjointed, difficult to follow, and lacked a good deal of philosophical value that training from another Jedi could have afforded Coyo.
What Coyo did not know, however, is that when his father was lucid, the lessons that he imparted were extremely dense with value and weight. Coyo only needed to dissect them to truly learn what a true Padawan took for granted.
One day, the man saw that his end had come near. He sent Coyo to assist the local merchant on a trip around the system, and when he was gone, a set of inquisitors paid the semi-senile old man a visit.
When Coyo returned, there was not even a body to reveal his father's fate, but the force...the force had its own way of letting him know.

With nowhere left to go, and no one to turn to, he went off in the galaxy with only a pocketful of credits to search for the "Rebel Alliance". If he could not be the hero that his father wanted him to be, he would still do all he could do to help achieve his father's dream of restoring the republic.

Motivation

No one:
His father was wrong. He isn't anything special. He's not sociable, and he's not particularly brave.
He's scared. He's scared, and he's alone. The only thing left to give is his life.

Duties

Combat Victory: The Player Character is driven to show that the Alliance can hold its own against Imperial forces in any
troop vs. troop engagement. He wants to engage the Empire's military—thei r best, whenever possible—and provide more
victories for the Alliance to tout to the galaxy as proof it can ultimately win the war. This means daring raids, excellent
tactics, and acquiring the best firepower possible.

Description

A young man in his early to mid-twenties in a set of dark padded armor, and carrying a giant blade on his back.
