Background
Ryssa was the Padawan of Master Roblio Darté. While many saw the youngling’s fighting style as aggressively reckless, Darté saw a younger version of himself in her and recognized the seeming recklessness as a desire to be brave as well as an innate drive to master her skills. He saw the potential in her that if she were to temper her recklessness with discipline, then the innate skill she already possessed would flourish and she could become a great warrior. His hands on teaching style suited Ryssa and his habit of constantly training and practicing has become a major defining trait of her lifestyle.
Ryssa has been recently Knighted. She displayed great skill and heroism during the First Battle of Geonosis, allowing her to bypass the Trials of Knighthood and instead allow the exceptionally trying mission to take the place of the traditional tests.
