Background
Penn was raised in a monastery, under a group similar to the Disciples of the Whills. There, his life was relatively ordinary, but the monks' upbringing taught him strong morals and instilled an unwavering faith in the Force. On his 18th birthday, as is tradition, Penn embarked on a pilgrimage, to see the galaxy from beyond the confines of his small monastery dorms. When he met a stranger who introduced themselves as a Jedi, it seemed to be fate.
