Background

TR-34 was created on Geonosis like many other Droids of the CIS, specifically to act as a Commander and military advisor. To what degree he actually served this role is unknown to him, all that is TR knows was at some point he was deactivated (likely with the other CIS Droids at that war's conclusion), and had ended up on an Imperial transport ship with little else of apparent value, hidden away. This ship was raided by Rebel forces, and with discretion being their choice in this matter, the ship's crew was overpowered and TR was taken for their Alliance.

The Rebellion, being no strangers to using recovered Separatist Droids for their forces, immediately saw the potential value, but didn't want to risk it turning on their forces. A mindwipe was performed, and he was put to work using the recovered Droids exactly as he was programmed to, except under the Rebellion Alliance, against the Galactic Empire. To him it ultimately made little difference. The Engineers that worked with him were marveled by his design and apparent intelligence, and would unknowingly push him towards being fully Sapient under their engagement and companionship.

Being able to think creatively, he used to boundless space open to him to try and do what he always did, just better. He began experimenting with creating his own Droids, and was encouraged to do so by the Engineers who would do so, so that he could lead Droid teams out for extended periods of time without human minders. Eventually, the war was won, and in the process, along with his other modifications, certain arrangements were made to equip him with an Escape Circuit, as a way to keep his freedom after having fought to earn it, at his insistence.

He quickly found that a Galaxy without war was very quite boring to him. He tried for many years to rely more heavily on his learned Droid Tech skills to keep himself self-sufficient to avoid anyone trying to take ownership of him, doing repairs and upgrades to Droids especially, but also vehicles, guns, ships, armor, gadgets, etc. He now, coming to this place, looks for opportunities to start his own private military company, made up of good strong Droids built by his own hand if possible.

Droid: Droids do not need to eat, sleep, or breathe, and are unaffected by toxins or poisons. Droids have a cybernetic implant cap of 6 instead of their Brawn rating.
Inorganic: Since droids are inorganic, they do not gain the benefits of recovering with a bacta tank, stimpack, or Medicine skill checks. Droids do recover naturally by resting, as their systems attempt self-repairs. Otherwise, droids need to be tended to with a Mechanics check, using the same difficulties and results of Medicine checks for organic beings. Emergency repair patches can be used to repair damage just like stimpacks are used on organic beings.
Machine Being: Droids cannot become Force sensitive, nor acquire a Force Rating by any means. Droids cannot use Force powers, and also cannot be affected by mind-altering Force powers.
