Background
Kavar was born on Onderon, and has spent much, if not all, of his life in the wilds of the untamed world. As soon as he could walk, he played a role in the day-to-day survival of his clan. He learned the tracks of prey and helped identify herbs useful for the group's survival. As time went on, his role grew, and eventually he become a true part of the hunting parties. It was here that Kavar was taught the first limitation of the traditional clan: never stalk the white-armored men.
Kavar found that lesson the hardest to deal with, as the white-armored men, who he eventually learned were enforcers of the Empire that strangled his home, constantly broke the land his clan held dear. They ran off good game that would feed the clan, and runined arable land with their mining and other sundry activities. However, Kavar respected the elder's wishes and tried to keep away.
Instead, to distract himself, Kavar focused on becoming a huntsman, those within the clan trusted to go on the Long Hunts, and claim glory for the clan along with furthering their long-term survival in the wild. In preparing for the trials, Kavar noticed that his connection to the land was deeper than the bond he saw with his clansman. He could feel the land's pain stemming from faraway sources, and his heart ached for it. At the same time, Kavar felt how the bond strengthened him, and gifted him with the power to decieve predators. With this gift, Kavar was able to pass his trials and become the youngest huntsman in the clan's history.
Allowed to venture out solo, Kavar was only confronted with more examples of the Empire's dishonorable assault on the land. The tainted land cried out to him for aid, and Kavar felt compelled to break his clan's chief tenet to serve a greater cause.
However, with his prey far larger than he felt he could even conceive, Kavar sought out allies, and followed the call of the land to Iziz, where he found agents of the Rebel Alliance. In the bluntest way, Kavar offered his aid to their cause, for the sake of the land.
Motivation
[Connection (Family)]: The Dann clan is spread all about Onderon, some moving the Iziz to become traders while others remain true to their tribal roots. Whatever their choices, as a newly-minted huntsman, Kavar takes it upon himself to keep the clan's honor upheld.
[Relationship (Pet)]: Little Pypat has not been with Kavar long, but the man has taken pride in the bird-of-prey's upbringing. He hopes to one day make her a strong huntering partner in her own right.
[Faith (Natural World)]: Kavar admires the purity of natural forces, survival of the fittest without bias towards any one species. He seeks to preserve the wilderness and its wonders, if not expand them back into the territories that "civilization" thought long-conquered.
Morality
[Bravery & Anger]: Kavar has lived his life to not be afraid of what lurks in the shadows. In fact, his living has been centered around exposing what lurked and conquering it. Thus, he is not hard to bring low by simple circumstance.
However, he has a short fuse for those that seek to hamper his actions against the lurkers. Sometimes, his temper gets the better of him.
Description
Relatively tall human with a lean build. His short brown hair does little to cover the small scars scattered over his face that were the result of his early trials of becoming a huntsman. However, those same trial are probably the most responsible for his piercing green eyes.
