Background
Likes: spending time in the temple gardens, wandering through/exploring the temple.
Meldoreth grew up in the middle classes of Alderaan. His parents, both Mirialan, lived there in one of the Mirialan colonies and did quite well for themselves. His childhood was spent running around exploring the nature of the planet with his friends, often staying up later than his parents would like. His sensitivity for the force was discovered relatively quickly and when he started entering his teens his parents sent him to Coruscant to train to become a Jedi.
One day while running their trials in the Jedi temple on Coruscant, Meldoreth, together with 5 other padawans, were led away by their masters with great haste due to some emergency. This emergency turned out to be Darth Malgus' arrival at the Jedi temple and the beginning of the sacking of Coruscant. During this time, Meldoreth and the 5 others saved some younglings from Mandalorian bounty hunters (one of whom Meldoreth shot in the head with a blaster he found), they helped clear out the temple, fought 4 Mandalorians in the temple hangars, one of whom he killed by ramming a speeder bike into him and whose 2 blasters he ended up keeping, three of which escaped. They went to the crystal vault where they found a sith assassin, whom the padawans dealt with before Meldoreth had time to react after which he piloted a temple speeder (Jedi mini van) to the top of one of it's spires, evading and forcing a sith interceptor to crash into said spire. Upon arrival at the top, they were told to go into a transport that was leaving by their masters who shortly after were killed my Malgus and his troops. Malgus tried to stop their transport, but they managed to escape.
After escaping Coruscant Meldoreth and his new found friends were brought to the Jedi temple on Tython where he finished his trials and was granted the rank of Jedi knight. He seemed to recover quickly from the incident and didn't take long to become a positive young Mirialan. But for many years he would wake up from nightmares where he relived that day over and over again, flying away on the transport while his master was slain by a sith warrior and in the depths of his heart, he vowed 2 things.
1. He would never allow anyone to go through the same things he did and would give his all to bring peace and stability back to the galaxy.
2. He would get revenge on the faceless sith that slew his master and make them pay for all the pain they caused him. This vow was one of an emotional child who just saw their world be destroyed before his own eyes and it would end up becoming a stumbling block for him many years after. How all that played out though, we do not yet know.
Many years passed and Meldoreth was sent on various missions around the galaxy, missions of war, sabotage and infiltration. At one time spending a full year in the jungles of some outer rim planet, surviving with a small task force of troopers after they were ambushed and got lost. When they returned they found the republic troops had left that planet and spent a year surviving the fauna while avoiding imperial troops. When they finally found a settlement they discovered the republic had lost that planet and presumed them dead. They were eventually extracted and brought back to Coruscant where they spent a couple of weeks recovering. Some of his troops retired after that experience (who could blame them), but some rejoined the war after recovering and Meldoreth was one of those.
Meldoreth also received additional training as a pilot and in his free time honed his skills with a blaster rifle he took from one of his troopers who didn't make it out of the jungle. He also held on to the blasters he took from the Mandalorian he killed with a speeder back on Coruscant and became quite proficient with them. He did, however, long for the day he would be able to lay down these weapons because they were no longer needed. Whether he would hang them on the walls of his home, store them in a cupboard, bury them or melt them down and reforge them into tools for building and healing in stead of war, he does not know.
Motivation
Ambition: Destroy the Sith
Having killed his master and violently sacked coruscant without mercy, Meldoreth feels they don't deserve any either.
Cause: Help the Helpless,
Tying in with his compassion, Meldoreth will help wherever possible and would love to see a galaxy where no help is needed for it is always given.
Peace
Ultimately, Meldoreth would like peace, to just go about his business, wander through nature and to be content.
Morality
Morality: 46
Emotional strength:
-Compassion
Kind in nature, Meldoreth is deeply moved by injustice and will care for people he deems in need of care, which is a lot of people, often putting their needs before his own.
Emotional Weakness:
-Coldness:
Especially when faced with enemies Meldoreth can become cold, showing neither mercy, nor grace for his foes. This trait can also arise when tired or very disinterested in a current subject.
Duty 53
-Sabotage:
In meldoreth's opinion the best way to defeat an enemy is through as little conflict as possible. This is made possible by sabotage, making sure the enemy will never be able to wage a war in the first place, avoiding the whole ordeal altogether.
