Background

Born on Corellia, Adam Burge was always amazed by the Empire. The military discipline, freshly washed and ironed uniforms and TIE fighters were very attractive to him. His career choice obvious: the Imperial Academy and through it, the Imperial Officer Corps. After all he was too clever to be wasted working at the shipyards like most of his commoner family.

Noted by his superiors for his academic achievements, curiosity and quick thinking he was transferred to the Imperial Military Intelligence. There he thrived, achieving to track down several cells of the Corellian Resistance, and ultimately climbed to the rank of army lieutenant. His expertise was needed as the Empire sought to eliminate any resistance. He was sent to study further and focused on getting familiar with worlds far from the Core. This enabled him to track down anarchists holed up in the farthest corners of the galaxy.

Motivation

Despite being satisfied with his career, Adam couldn't understand why his salary was half of what his cousins made working as welders. "Well, welding is an art and we build the finest star destroyers in the galaxy!" they used to tell him. Even his father who installed pipes in freighters made as much as him.

Driven by ambition and greed Adam searched tirelessly for ways to earn more credits. The knowledge available to him via the imperial records was unlimited. And it dawned on him. The knowledge of existence of artifacts of unparallel value was useless. Unless, combined with his military clearence. He could access classified information regarding the last known locations of these treasures and find them himself! The possibilities were endless! The decision to turn his back to his beloved Empire wasn't as hard as he'd thought. The hard part was working with all sorts of scum and villainy to achieve his goals...

Obligations

BETRAYAL - value 15
Once an imperial intelligence officer, Adam Burge deserted. Motivated not by hate for the Empire, rather than by greed. His access to imperial databases allowed him to know the locations of artifacts and treasures hidden across the galaxy. Now, free from the officer's obligations, he was free to track them down and fill his pockets with credits. Knowledge is power and Adam Burge had lots of it. But, at great cost; for he couldn't stop looking over his shoulder for signs of imperial presence.

Description

Adam Burge is tall, with pale skin and dark long locks of hair that he used to style in unconvential ways in an effort to avoid getting scolded by his superiors. Well, he doesn't need to do that any more and his locks fall to his shoulders.
