Background
Bast was born on Corellia, growing up among humans who took to vehicles rapidly fast. His childhood friends all got into swoop racing and Bast joined in. While he was never as good as his friends even they told him he had some talent, and the rush felt wonderful. Eventually he ended up working as a cargo freighter for several corporations over the years, mostly in the expansion region planets such as Dorin and and inner worlds like Bestine.
He heard over the years of his childhood friends joining the Rebellion, and eventually his friends in the company decided they were going to sign up with the rebel alliance as well. Losing those that he felt close to and made the tedious job worthwhile he joined up as well in the hopes that they can bring change to the galaxy and come out together.
