Kale Arlos was born into a middle class family on Ebiwaan, a planet at the end of the Leisure Corridor trade route. Life on Ebiwaan was quiet, but had enough of troubles. Having been an active athlete in his youth, his physical prowess came in handy when Kale joined the Imperial Army following an insurgent attack. His family had suffered losses during the attack, and the Academy offered a safe way to support his family and bring safety to the Galaxy.

Ever the one for adventure and to push his abilities, the young Arlos eagerly traveled off-world to new locations with his new military family. His abilities and morale was appreciated, and he quickly entered the selection for the Imperial Special Forces. He qualified for the Forces some time after his fifth tour. As Kale soon discovered, professional army life suited him. It also helped that he was an able soldier and promising Special Forces operative.

He was assigned to the Imperial Special Forces Terminus Squad. Corporal Kale Arlos served with honors for many years as second-in-command until one fateful day. Terminus Squad had been on a long and taxing mission under the command of an ISB-agent codenamed Keteris. It had started as an intelligence gathering mission, leading into a complex operation of snatch-and-grab. The contents of the package were classified and unknown to Zarn and his squad. From there, it had gone downhill. Seemingly bad Intel made the exfil close to lethal for the team. With several wounded, they were in no position for a fight when they reached the rendezvous point at the outskirts of the Ord Mantell-system.

But a fight was soon upon their ship, as attackers lay waiting for them in ambush. From transmissions picked up by the team prior to their ship being boarded, it was clear that Keteris somehow had sold them out. Whatever secrets they had gathered, it was above their pay grade, and their permanent silence was worth more than getting word out of the mission. The team dragged the wounded to the escape pods while fighting for their lives.

Waking up wounded and crashed on Ord Mantell, Kale has no recollection of what transpired after the survivors of the Terminus squad scrambled to the pods. He believed at least some of the squad made it, but couldn’t be sure. All he could think of now was surviving in this new existence of his. In due time, he would have to find out what happened to the rest of the squad, and why Keteris sold them out. But with little to no leads, Kale had to put his priorities straight: Survival.

Having proved itself as a treacherous organization, the soldier had no qualms with being recruited into the Rebel Alliance. Even so, he still keeps a reflected and distant view on Rebels and Imperials alike. Just because they haven't sold him out, Kale figures that doesn't make the Alliance any more heroes than the Empire. After all, war is a messy business. But he has no wish or intentions of second guessing his new position and organization - it is clearly the better option. Besides, he's a professional soldier and will act as one. He swiftly offered his services and expertise to the Special Operations branch of the Alliance. After a vetting period, he is finally ready for his first mission.

Athletic and nimble, Kale's training as a former athlete and elite soldier shows. Standing 1.82m tall, he's a fit and muscular man in good health. He wears his brown hair regulatory short and has piercing keen eyes. He carries himself professionally, and will voice his opinions and share his experience with superiors, but otherwise carries out his orders skillfully and with precision.
