Name Rank Book & Page Description
Sniper Shot 1 Gadgets and Gear: The Essential Collection of Weapons and Equipment (Page 7) Before making a non-thrown ranged attack, Rog can use a maneuver to extend the weapon's effective range, at the cost of upgrading the attack's difficulty.
True Aim 1 tar Wars Age of Rebellion Roleplaying Game: Core Rulebook (Page 158) True Aim allows Rog to spend a maneuver to receive the benefits of Aim and upgrade the attack once per rank of True Aim.
Brace 1 Gadgets and Gear: The Essential Collection of Weapons and Equipment (Page 6) As a maneuver, the character may Brace themself. This allows the character to remove one setback die per rank of Brace from their next skill check based on changing conditions, inclement weather, unstable surfaces, zero gravity, heavy gravity, or other physical obstacles that would make a skill check more difficult.
Grit 1 Star Wars Force and Destiny Roleplaying Game: Core Rulebook (Page 144) Each rank of Grit increases a character's strain threshold by one.

Background

Rog is a B1 battle droid who has somehow acquired several traits not listed in the original manufacturing specifications, including independent thought, questionable judgment, sentimental attachment, and a strong dislike of being called “scrap.” He travels under a battered poncho, keeps his rifle close, and tends to know more about old battlefields, damaged droids, and military procedures than he is usually willing to explain. Rog claims he is no longer interested in the Clone Wars, armies, commanders or politics. How Rog became more than an ordinary B1 is a subject he generally avoids discussing. Usually by saying, “Roger, roger,” and walking away.

Motivation

Rescue: Rog has a squad he is hoping to see rescued from Seperarist control. He is in the Alliance because they offer the best chance he has to save those he seeks to rescue.

Duties

Personnel: Rog was manufactured to believe that droids were replaceable. Geonosis taught him otherwise. Machines, credits, intelligence, and military objectives can all be replaced; the individuals fighting beside him cannot.

Rog is devoted to protecting his squadmates, organic or mechanical, and ensuring that everyone has the chance to survive and succeed. He refuses to abandon damaged allies simply because rescuing them is inconvenient or tactically inefficient.

To Rog, a mission that achieves every objective but loses half the team is a failure. A mission that misses its target but brings everyone home can still be considered a success.

No one is expendable. No one gets left behind.

Description

A former battle droid with a mysterious past, Rog now travels under a poncho with a list of missing friends, and a growing suspicion that “roger, roger” is not an acceptable answer to every emotional problem.
