Background
Tien was born to a high ranking zabrak warlord on the hellscape moon of Iego. The zabraks inhabiting the moon were a ruthless warrior race, where your worth was only measured by your skill in combat. Young Solar'e was an extraordinary fighter which with his already high ranking family background gave him the status of a warrior elite. Unbeknownst to his zabrak brothers, Tien was highly in tune with the force, and this power gave him an edge against his adversaries in combat. His status among his people only served to feed his pride and ego, as all he knew was his superiority above the rest.
His connection with the force lead him to be found by the Jedi Council, and at the ripe age of 8 he was taken to Coruscant to train in the ways of the Jedi. Although he excelled in his studies to become a Jedi, Tien was never able to rid himself of his arrogance, still believing himself to be superior to not only the other padawans, but also of the knights and masters above him. As he progressed to knighthood, young Solar'e learned form II Makashi, seeking to prove his superiority in combat through the use of a lightsaber.
On his many missions as a Jedi Knight, Tien's pride was ever-present. His presence was always felt as he entered a room. His ego has lead him to many victories in the Clone Wars, but also at times had helped in hampering the zabrak in his ordeals. Believing that his superior combat ability is enough, he denounced relying on armor and "gimmicky devices and tricks" in battle, believing that one's true worth on the battlefield must be his own.
Motivation
Nothing: The character refuses to put his faith in something greater. The galaxy is a chaotic and random place, and the only thing that someone can trust in is himself.
Morality
50
Pride: Pride can be a powerful emotion, and can
push a character to impressive feats of personal
accomplishment. He strives to be the best and to take
pleasure in his skills.
Arrogance: Pride, among all emotions, is perhaps the
easiest to fall to a darker form. Arrogance mirrors pride,
but satisfaction in one’s accomplishments is replaced with contempt for others’ failings. It is not enough to succeed; the character also expects all others to fail.
Description
6'3" in height, pale white skin covered in head to toe in black tribal tattoos. Wearing black armored robes with the air of nobility , Tien wears his pride above all else. He believes that all conflicts he takes part in can be easily dealt with by use of the force and exceptional use of the lightsaber, (Think a proud, warrior elite like Vegeta or Dooku)
