Background
Born off-world to a farming family of two Gungan outcasts, Am-Am as a young girl already knew she wanted to see the stars and travel to strange new worlds.
Her parents had no money for any formal education, but made sure Am-Am could travel a lot with local pilots so she could learn on the job.
After quitting the Ukkre family business, Am-Am took a job with the Republic to pilot the small freighter Gallivant, which permitted her to see different worlds in the Outer Rim.

If there's anything Am-Am enjoys more than exploring new planets and flying to distant stars, it's doing those under pressure. Am-Am loves the rushes of endorphins and adrenaline equally. While not a death-seeker, Am-Am will rarely if ever back down from an undertaking due to perceived risks.
