Name Rank Book & Page Description
Droid Special Abilities 1 Core Rulebook p.47 Droids do not need to eat, sleep, or breathe, and are unaffected by toxins or poisons. Droids have a cybernetic implant cap of 6 instead of their Brawn rating. In addition, after selecting their career, a Droid Player Character may train one rank in six of the eight career skills (instead of the usual four). After selecting their first specialization, a Droid Player Character may train one rank in three of the four specialization skills (instead of the usual two).
Inorganic 1 Core Rulebook p.47 Since droids are inorganic, they do not gain the benefits of recovering with a bacta tank, stimpack, or Medicine skill checks. Droids do recover naturally by resting, as their systems attempt self-repairs. Otherwise, droids need to be tended to with a Mechanics check, using the same difficulties and results of Medicine checks for organic beings. Emergency repair patches can be used to repair damage just like stimpacks are used on organic beings. See page 220 for more on droid repairs and healing. Due to their resilient metallic construction, droids start the game with one rank in the Enduring talent.
Mechanical Being 1 Core Rulebook p.47 Droids cannot become Force sensitive, nor acquire a Force Rating by any means. Droids cannot use Force powers, and also cannot be affected by mind-altering Force powers.
Toughened 1 Core Rulebook p.60 Gain +2 Wound Threshold.
Jury Rigged 1 Core Rulebook p.60 Choose 1 weapon/armor/etc. and give it a permanent Improvement while in use
Defensive Stance 1 Core Rulebook p.60 Once per round, may perform Defensive Stance maneuver and suffer a number of strain to upgrade difficulty of all incoming melee attacks by an equal number. Strain suffered this way cannot exceed ranks in Defensive Stance.
Brace 1 Core Rulebook p.60 Perform the Brace maneuver to remove black dice per rank of Brace from next Action This may only black dice added by environmental circumstances

Background

Repaired recently by a Twi'lek machinist named Ikara'mogos, a 2-1B series Medical Droid was given the serial number N-0V4. Now reprogrammed and refitted with more appropriate equipment, Ikara'mogos gave N-0V4 (nicknamed Nova or Enno) a new purpose; a repairdroid for the weapons and armor of the local bounty hunter's guild.
Its arm, an all-purpose-tool of sorts made by its revivor, functioned both for repair and combat, allowing it to both remain at the Guild base and accompany newbies on jobs for quick repair and combat assistance. Unfortunately, a quick hunt in Tatooine was cut short, and Enno's squad was taken by the Hutts...

Motivation

Obligations

15 Obligation Points:

Contract: A powerful and strict contract binds the character to a specific employer. Whoever holds the character's contract has nearly total control over the character's future career. All bounties are furnished by the contract holder, and deviating from the terms of the contract can lead to a number of potentially harsh fines and punishments.

Specifics: Ikara'mogos, being the man who reprogrammed Enno and brought it back to life, has a lot of sway in its further existence. It would never wish to go against his wishes.
