Background
Be'et was a pirate, stealing from small passenger and cargo ships as part of a crew before finally venturing out on his own. After a couple of successful heists in the core worlds, Be'et bit off more then he could chew in a raid against a relic collector who was migrating from coruscant to Corellia.
During the attack, Be'et lost two admittedly unprepared crewmates to the ship defenses and was only able to escape by venting most of the stolen goods as a distraction. However, by the time he made it back to Coruscant Be'et noticed that one of the protocol droids belonging to the collector had made its way onto his ship, sitting amongst the few stolen credit stacks and oddities that weren't drifting into deep space.
HK-?? as he would later call himself became part of Be'ets crew that day.
As a Mikkian, Be'et was always more sensative to his surroundings than others, but he also began nurturing a talent he still doesn't fully understand: not just sensing, but manipulating the forces around him.
At one point just before Order 66, a Jedi temple guard had caught Be'et during a smuggling run and had mercy on him after sensing his undeveloped sensitivity to the force.
