Background
Sys was originally the creation of a droid technician who wanted a family, but couldn't give them the time they deserved. He was obsessed with droids and started to see them as equal to biologicals. He set out to make for himself the "perfect daughter", naming her "Sys, short for "System". She was designed to manage his other droids while he focused on his craft. She was originally designed much smaller than she is today, appearing only as a child. The man slaved over her and designed her just as he wanted, and when she was done, he added synthskin and a wig to make her look like a normal child.
Over the years, Sys' programming has adapted and changed until she overcame her original subservient "perfect daughter" programming and developed a desire to see more than just the inside of her "father's" workshop. She had been able to see the outside world only through holo-feeds and the holonet. She had even been allowed to interact with customers on a limited basis so her father could test her social programming. But she wanted more.
When her father finally passed away, she mourned. How could she not? She had been programmed to "love" him. Maybe she really had. By now, she had been with him for more than ten years, and had been given several body adjustments so that she now appeared a woman in her mid-twenties. She took what few credits she could from the shop, boxed up a crew of pit droids she'd become fond of, and took the first ship she could afford to take her off planet.
She didn't even ask where it was going. It turns out, it was a government ship headed for Bosani, and she was able to barter passage in exchange for her services in mechanics and computers. When any of the passengers needed help getting their holopads to work, tech support would send Sys. She never complained, and never got tired of instructing people to "try plugging it in." And in that's how our Sys got to Bosani.

Description
Sys is 5'9" tall, has light skin, and can be a little physically awkward. She has been programmed to appear human, and can pass as one, but there will probably always be something about her that just seems... off. It might be that she forgets to blink for too long, or never sweats, even in heat. She usually remembers to simulate things like drawing in a deep breath before going underwater, but especially if she's distracted or thinking about something else, those little details can slip her attention.
Sys is deeply passionate and intense in everything she wants to do, and has no problems with programming other droids to handle the things she doesn't like. This has made her very bad at most things, and her awkwardness can show even more if she's asked to do something mundane that she's never done before, like sweep a floor. She has been programmed with a positive view toward all beings, and sees herself as almost an older Syster (get it?) to other droids who might have less developed personality matrices. She sees herself as naturally superior (like a big sister) to other droids, but naturally seeks to serve any biologicals around herself, as long as they do not violate her innate protocols of morality.
She is both curious and terrified to modify her own body and coding, because her father was always the one to do that. She has no qualms about creating and programming other droids, though, and may one day even try it on herself.
She has a natural (programmed) desire to recreate the environment of her father's shop, even if she isn't aware of the connection.
