Background
Born and bred to be a gladiator in the Hutt cartel fighting pits, Koen's destiny shifted the day his master, Throbu the Hutt, became the target of a Mandalorian mercenary band. The Mandos adopted Koen into their clan (clan Nu'kree) and taught him their creed. Koen was still a young boy at that time.
When he grew into adulthood, he met and married a Mandalorian woman named Vaniya, who seemed to have been on her own for some years. Once his new wife was officially made a member of clan Nu'kree, she used the trust she was giving to steal a Basilisk war droid, the clans' most prized possession. Koen left his clan out of shame to hunt her on his own.'
It was in this pursuit that he encountered Ani'atin Squad, who were members of clan Kirruk. Vaniya had conned them into thinking that he was the thief and she the hunter, and convinced them to help her take Koen down.
Ani'atin Squad figured out the truth before Koen could be killed, but not before Vaniya made her escape, stealing their ship in the process.
Koen help Ani'atin Squad in tracking down and recovering the ship, but Vaniya had set the squad up to either kill one of her enemies or get killed by them. Ultimately, Vaniya had disappeared and Koen joined clan Kirruk.

Description
Just shy of 6 feet tall, well-muscled as someone who has conditioned themselves from a very young age, chestnut hair that he cuts himself without using a mirror, and hazel eyes. Due to his upbringing, he doesn't have any tattoos as most Zabraks do but tends to decorated his armor with the kinds of patterns that are commonly seen on Iridonia.
He's good at keeping his head on his shoulders in the middle of a disaster, but in the moments leading up to one, his nerves start to fray around the edges. He'll start pacing or fidgeting with whatever's at hand and generally start getting on other people's nerves.
He also likes chatting people up but has a bad habit of putting his foot in his mouth and saying just the wrong thing.
He claims to have been cured of his arrogant streak at a young age, but most people who know him would agree that he's still too cocky for his own good.
