Vovain was born on a small planet named Batune. Living a very simple life with his family as maintenance workers. He desired more out of life growing up hearing stories about space so much he wanted to travel and see the stars. When he came of age he snuck out of his parents house and went to the shipping yard to watch the shuttles take off and leave for the stars.

While he was laying on the hill day dreaming about what life must be like he didn't hear the noises coming from behind him. He went from his long life dream to blackness. When he came to there was a bit of shaking and rocking. Focusing his vision on the figure in front of him it was a grizzled human man probably late 40's he has an eye patch across his left eye short cut brown hair normal build not to hefty but not skinny, sitting across from him. "He..Hello may i ask where i am?" seems to be all he can get out. "you are now on the cargo ship Wildcat. I saw ya just laying there and was like hey I can make some credits off a youngin like you so here ya be." He is looking at him waiting for a reaction. "you mean im in space? like no longer on that planet? Do you have to sell me to slavery? im a maintenance man by trade i could be of use to you." he says quite fast almost excidedly.

Almost dumb founded by the response he looks the Sluissi up and down. Letting out a light chuckle. "You really wanted out of there that bad being kidnapped is fun to you? You got problems kid. But yes your right i could use a maintenance man well kid i guess." Extending his hand he says " Names Jack O'Hare but me crew call me O."

A couple years pass and the train and teach and work with him to make him an effective member of the crew. One night he was walking the halls he over heard a conversation between captain and someone over a call. Not able to catch all but bits and pieces and what he heard wasnt pleasant something about the murder of an official or something.Backing away he hit something and made a noise clearing the hall and in his room before the captain came out.

When they landed at a fueling station he took what gear and credits he had and snuck off board not wanting to face any consequences he may have if staying wouldnt take long for him to figure out Vovain knew something. He found a little passenger ship and paid for passage getting on just in time before take off. He has spent his years since bouncing from ship to ship looking for a new home he can settle in and trying to stay away from his old crew trying to stay under the radar.
