Goomba Gildberg is the oldest in a family of 4. 17 years old, born in 15 BBY, He loved his father, a cunning and warm hearted gungan, and did his best to follow in his footsteps, to take care of his family. Following the traditional family Gungan naming structure:

Father: Fro-hoomba
Mother: Ga-troomba
Younger brother: Boomba
Youngest sister: Ptoomba

Fro-hoomba worked as a merchant who traded wares among the harbor marketplace near the city of Poth Putot. His kind nature led him to come to know many merchants and provided a humble living for his family, as he always focused on providing good service instead of profit. However this led him into financial disparity and he was driven to steal from those he knew could handle the loss to keep his family afloat. This issue escalated as he was caught stealing by a crime ring. His family was threatened and he continued stealing bigger and more dangerous targets, Fro-hoomba was forced to include Goomba to his chagrin. When one day the syndicate was unhappy with his performance and killed him. Without hesitation Goomba decided that they needed to move to a safer place where they could succeed. After saying goodbye to his mother and young siblings he set off on a vessel to be hired as a hand for Teemo, not knowing his criminal intent was far worse than the gang that ruined his family.

To step into his passed fathers place and take care of his family.
He vows to overcome his fathers weakness of crippling good nature. Be kind, but always think of yourself first. He thinks of theft as a natural survival mechanism. He steals with no ill-will towards his victims, almost respecting and being thankful to them for the opportunity to steal from them. Considering their vulnerability it to simply be a weakness they will have to learn from, if not him, from another thief.
He despises those who treat the poor or weak in disdain. While taking the peaceful gungan stance or neutrality in most cases, he is quickly angered when child cruelty or a weaker person pointlessly tortured.

He deeply desires to clear his fathers name. Although everyone respected him, despite his actions, Goomba feels the need to prove his lifestyle as a morally sound one. He subconsciously wants affirmation on his desire to fall in his fathers footsteps. Showing to everyone and himself that a noble thief can take care of a family and be respected by those around him.

Goomba is tall, 7'5" and lean for a Gungan. His light yet muscular figure helps him work as a thief, and perform acrobatics attempting to get in and out of sticky situations. He inherited his mothers amber eyes and a friendly yet quiet demeanor. He can somehow slink into the shadows of the back of any room despite his size.

The Gungan culture is very peaceful, and his fathers kindness amplified Goomba's amiable and good natured spirit. However since his fathers murder, he actively tries to fight this, attempting to be stronger willed and confrontational whenever he thinks to. This act tends to fall apart when met with truly strong willed people.
