Background

Milo was born in an upper-middle class family on his home planet. Given the status of his family he was sent as an apprentice instead of being sold as a slave to a wealthy Kel Dor family of force users. It is here were his attunement to the Force was first discovered and initially nurtured. He developed a strong bond with this new family, but when the empire started hunting down Force users most of his family was captured and killed. The remaining survivors decided to scatter across the galaxy to maximise their chances of survival. Milo was an adolescent at the time, and he was left to fend for his own in the Outer Rim with only one goal, survival. Thanks to the training he received in negotiation, his strong, natural connection for the Force and his innate charm he was able to create a big network of individuals who employed his services for monetary compensation. It was only by luck that the vast majority of these individuals were related to the Rebellion. They were initially suspecting Milo to be a Force user, and over time their conviction grew stronger, because of this, instead of exploiting his powers for exclusively selfish aims, they tried to nurture Milo towards the light.

Motivation

Survival: In a galaxy where simply being a Force user can be a death sentence, the character's primary concern is survival He's willing to do what it takes to make sure he lives another day.

The persecution of his family and his abilities created a strong survival instinct.

Morality

Independence: The character believes in relying on himself. He does not count on others to perform tasks for him; instead, he ensures he can handle any situation he encounters. He refuses to be a burden on others.

Coldness: Self-reliance can slip into isolation if one is not careful. A cold character doesn't just desire to rely only on himself, but has nothing but disinterest for anyone else. If they can’t help themselves, why should he aid them?

Starting morality 71
The trait was developed after his strong bond with the family was severed.
