Grew up in a colony on Mygeeto, which has been scraping a living since the empire took over. Meek-To doesn't really remember the clone wars, since she was so young at the time, but is pretty sure that things were better before: at least the republic left her people alone. After a particularly disastrous set of events in 7 BBY, Meek-To stowed away on an imperial ship to coruscant, then hitchhiked to Tatooine, setting up shop in Mos Espa. There, she developed skills as a mechanic in the podracing circuit, though she developed a bit of a reputation for being a "Jawa Friend" since she would fix their non-functioning droids that they pick up.
