Background

A young man from Corellia, Takeshi hails from a long line of pilots and galactic explorers.

His parents went on a run to explore the Deep Core when he was 15, but never returned. A few days later, Imperials came and searched their residence, seizing anything of value. Takeshi himself managed to get away and escape the Imperials, but his younger sister Sayane wasn’t so lucky, and was taken away.

Takeshi went to an old family friend to get help, and joined a local resistance cell that the friend ran. He became a skilled killer for the group, possessing a sixth sense that allowed him to track his targets, allowing him to kill several Imperial Officers. For five years, Takeshi helped the group strike blows against the Empire throughout the Corellian system, learning how to fly a starship to get around easier. Along the way, he managed to learn that his parents had been killed by the Empire, having stumbled onto something the Imperials didn't want leaked out, and been silenced for it.

But then, when Takeshi was 20, the group was performing another strike when they were attacked by a female masked figure, clad entirely in black, wielding a double-bladed lightsaber with a circular handleguard that allowed the blades to spin around it. They'd heard rumors of the Imperial Inquisitorius, and now an Inquisitor had come after them - or rather, after Takeshi, whose special sense was a sign of Force Sensitivity, and had drawn attention finally.

The group fought against the Inquisitor, but she slaughtered them all, until only Takeshi was left, though he gained a scar on his face from a glancing blow from her lightsaber. Takeshi finally managed to drive her off by blowing up some machinery nearby—but the blast also knocked off her mask, and Takeshi was shocked to discover that he KNEW her - the Inquisitor was, in fact, his sister Sayane, brainwashed by the Empire and trained to serve them.

With his group all dead and no where else on Corellia to go, Takeshi left the system. He needed to get stronger, learn how to fully use his powers, in order to take down the Empire, and while he wanted to free Sayane from Imperial control... if she could not be talked down, he would free her in the only other way he knew how.

Along the way, Takeshi sought to further understand the Power of the Force now flowing through him. This led him to a hidden Jedi Temple on the planet Aeos, where he built his first lightsaber, though he only brought it out when fighting Sayane.

Later, he learned Sayane was after a powerful artifact that was located in a workshop on Nar Shaddaa, and went there to keep her from getting it. He only barely arrived in time, and drove her away from the shop's owner, a Twi'lek woman named Oracle that he was captivated by. Her life in danger, she began traveling with Takeshi, and as thanks for saving her, she gave him the artifact in question - a pair of twin Krayt Dragon Pearls, which Takeshi bonded with and used to make a new, double-bladed lightsaber, though he still keeps the original as a backup.

As the years went by, Takeshi and Oracle grew closer and fell in love, even having a child together. Technically, they are as close as any husband-and-wife team, if not closer, but their status of living constantly on the run means they have never had a proper ceremony.

Meanwhile, his relationship with Sayane continues to deteriorate, and he is slowly realizing that he can't turn her back to the light... and will be forced to put an end to the life of his sister to end the threat she poses...

Motivation

Ambition/Revenge - Takeshi seeks vengeance on the Empire for the death of his parents and comrades.

Cause/Overthrow the Empire - As an extension of his quest for vengeance, Takeshi seeks to see the Empire taken down.

Ambition/Become a Jedi - Takeshi believes that only the power of a Jedi will allow him to claim his vengeance, so he seeks to become one.

Relationship/Sibling - When he was growing up, Takeshi cared deeply for his sister Sayane. Now, she is an Imperial Inquisitor, tasked with bringing him down. Takeshi seeks to save Sayane if he can, but if he can't... then at least he won't let her suffer anymore...

Relationship/Lover - Takeshi cares deeply for his partner Oracle, and trusts her implicitly. If she needs help with anything, he will provide it, and he knows she will do the same for him.

Morality

Bravery - Takeshi is always among the first to charge into a combat situation, especially with Imperials. If there is a battle, and especially if innocents are involved, he often has his weapon drawn before anyone else.

Recklessness/Anger - Unfortunately, Takeshi often tends to act before he thinks, and his battle plans often boil down to "I have a plan: attack." He can be held back, but it's not easy for him to stand by and do nothing. He also has a bit of a short fuse, prone to getting angry at very slight provocations.

Love - Takeshi possesses a deep love for his companion Oracle. She has truly become his other half, his partner, and the two have shared many hardships together.

Fear - However, the two are so intertwined that Takeshi is afraid of losing her, the pain of losing his parents, his friends, and the whole mess with Sayane not helping matters.

Placard Hunter Duty (10 Points) - Takeshi knows that the Empire has a dedicated chain of command. Taking out the links in that chain will often disrupt Imperial activities in a region, so that is what he does whenever he is performing operations against the Empire, especially when working with the Alliance.

Description

Takeshi is a standard human male, with an athletic build, standing at a height of 5'9". He has short, chocolate brown hair, thick eyebrows, a bushy mustache, amethyst eyes, and fair skin. He also possesses a scar that goes across his face diagonally, starting from above his right eye, going across the bridge of his nose, and then going down across his left cheek. For most situations, he tends to wear a dark blue long-sleeved polo, a black vest, black pants, and black shoes, all of which have minor armoring for protection. However, for when he doesn't want to be seen, he does have some black robes that conceal his form.

Takeshi is mostly an easygoing individual, but fairly quiet, often keeping to himself in crowds unless spoken to, though he opens up among friends, especially with Oracle. He also has something of a short fuse, primarily related to the Empire, and has a tendency to rush into situations with little-to-no planning.
