Name Rank Book & Page Description
Parry 1 F&D Core 149 When the character suffers a hit from a Brawl, Melee, or Lightsaber combat check after damage is calculated, suffer 3 strain to deduce damage dealt by 2 plus rank. May only be used once per hit, and only if character is using Lightsaber or Melee Weapon
Quickdraw 1 F&D Core 149 Once per round on characters turn, Draw/holster easily accessible weapon or item as incidental.
Conditioned 1 F&D Core 141 Remove black die per rank from athletics and coordination checks. Reduce damage and strain suffered by falling by one per rank.
Dodge 1 F&D Core 142 When targeted by a combat check (ranged or melee) the character may choose to immediately perform a Dodge incidental to suffer a number of strain, then upgrade the difficulty of the combat check by that number. The number of strain suffered cannot exceed his ranks in Dodge. When the character performs the Dodge incidental, the character may make a Move maneuver as an out-of-turn incidental after the triggering attack has been resolved.
Quick Strike 2 F&D Core 150 The character adds one boost die per rank of Quick Strike to his combat checks made against any target that has not yet acted in the encounter.
Jump Up 1 F&D Core 146 Once per round on the character’s turn, the character may stand up from prone or a seated position as an Incidental.
Ataru Technique 1 F&D Core 139 When making a Lightsaber skill check, the character may use Agility instead of Brawn.
Reflect 2 F&D Core 150 When hit by a ranged attack, suffer 3 strain to reduce damage by 2 plus rank in reflect.
Hunters Quarry 1 Savage Spirits 30 Take Hunters Quarry action: make a Hard Survival check to upgrade the ability of all attacks made against a target at long range until the end of the characters next turn.
Grit 2 Executioner Tree / F&D Core 133 Gain +1 strain threshold
Lethal Blows 1 Savage Spirits 30 The character adds +10 per rank of Lethal Blows to any Critical Injury rolls inflicted on opponents.
Hawk Bat Swoop 1 F&D Core 144 Force talent. The character may take a Hawk Bat Swoop action, performing a Lightsaber (Agility) melee combat check against one target within short range and adding (Force Dice) no greater than Force rating to the pool. The character may spend (1 Force Point) before resolving the success or failure of the check to engage the target immediately as an incidental, and may spend (Force Points) to add (Advantage) to the check. If the character cannot move to engage the target, the attack automatically misses.

Background

Born into a family of moderate financial success. Cho, like most Kel Dor, had tight ties to his family and worked in the family business. Cho’s family ran a bodyguard/executive protection company and had contracts on many worlds along the norther border of The Slice, along the Perlemian Trade Route. After his official schooling, he spent his time training and learning the family business inside and out. He had a drive to know every facet of the business, from working in the field, to how the back end administrative side of the company functioned. Cho worked his way through the ranks of the company, mainly taking on contracts in the core worlds and the colonies worlds, and garnered a well deserved reputation for getting the job done, and was well liked by the clients he worked with. Cho’s biggest opportunity came when Nadea Tural, a female Thradian who represented the planet of Thrad in the Imperial Senate, hired Cho’s company to provide protection for her and her family. Cho had never really been big into Galactic politics and saw this assignment as another opportunity to make some money, do the job right, and gain some prestige for his family. Nothing more. He was chosen to be Nadea’s personal body guard, and over the next four years they developed a close professional and personal relationship. Over this 4 year period, Cho heard things he wasn’t supposed to hear. Whispers about what the Empire was doing behind the scenes. The brutality that the Emperor used to keep rogue planets in line, how he was slowly eating away at the freedoms that were afforded to the Empires citizens, and Cho didn’t know what to think. While not every decision that the Emperor made was a popular one, the Empire was doing what it promised to do, right? It brought order to the galaxy after the clone wars, the economies of the core and colony worlds were thriving, and no external forces were threatening the sovereignty of the Empire. But when the Emperor dissolved the Imperial Senate, things were thrown into chaos. Because there was no more Imperial Senate, the contract with Cho’s company was canceled, and he began the trip back to the planet where his family had chosen to settle and establish their company over a century ago. Alderran. During the trip back, Cho heard news on the holonet that several former Imperial senators had been arrested for high treason, Including his former friend and client, Nadea Tural. Cho couldn’t believe it at
first, but on the long trio back to Alderran, the more he thought about it the more it made sense. He had overheard her badmouth the Empire multiple times, and been present at confidential meetings that seemed more secretive than necessary. Could Nadea have been a traitor that was trying to undermine the Emperor? Cho wasn’t sure what was true as he dropped out of hyperspace in the Alderran system, but then he saw something that made everything crystal clear. As he approached the planet to land, a massive moon sized space station entered the system, and fired a superweapon at the planet of Alderran, completely disintegrating the peaceful world. Cho immediately got on the holonet to try to contact any survivors, and to try to make contact with the several family members he knew were off
world. But the Empire had instituted a holonet communications blackout to prevent news of the destruction of the planet from spreading. Witnessing the death of his family and the destruction of an entire planet, Cho fled to the outer rim. Fear gripped him and he decided to run, there was nothing he
could do to stop something as powerful as the Death Star. And there was nothing left for him here, so he knew he had to get as far away from the Empire as possible. Cho spent some time in Hutt space, and this is where he honed his piloting and astrogation skills. He is a well rounded fighter, but his strengths lie in his melee skills. He was forced to take any job he could just to scrape by. Some he isin’t proud of, but he did what he had to do to survive. Now without a direction in life, and bitter over the loss of his family, he is looking for the next job that’s going to put food on the table, and trying to survive day to day in an unfamiliar part of the galaxy outside the outer rim.
