Renneth was once a proud member of Clan Mondel, a smaller but nevertheless respected clan in Mandalorian society, famed like many clans for their ancient warrior tradition and respect of honour. When the imperials took control of the galaxy and started a violent oppression of the mandalorian people, Clan Mondel went into hiding while making it known they would resist any imperial rule, occasionally aiding rebel partisan forces and criminal organisations, though this was a source of debate and conflict amongst most members. On a mission in 8Bby, Renneth and his squad were tasked with aiding an assassination plot against an imperial senator. During this mission he was betrayed by his close friend Kassius, resulting in Renneth being heavily injured and the rest of his squad wiped out entirely by Kassius’ hand. Retreating back to his home, he found Kassius and the rest of the Clan waiting for him, with Kassius twisting words and lying about Renneth, and the clan believed him. For this Renneth was to be exiled, and as part of the honoured code, he had to leave his armour. Now it has been a few years and Renneth has made a comfortable living off his combat skills, though time hasn’t taken the edge off the hate he has for Kassius.
