Background
Aryant was taken from a clan of pacifist New Mandalorians when he was revealed to be force sensitive. Growing up in the Jedi temple and being from a clan of New Mandalorians he utterly opposed violence in all forms and believed that those Jedi who took a large hand in light saber fighting and offensive uses of the force did not deserve the title of Jedi, after all how could you be a force for good when you actively trained to harm others? His mentors in the Jedi temple mostly supported him however he still had to take part in light saber training.
When it came time for him to create his first real light saber and become a padawan he went to Illum to get his kyber crystal. As he was walking through the crystal caves the force granted him a mysterious vision of a man in armor walking through the caves and guiding him to a shining crystal. The man stood in front of the crystal and explained that he was of the Mando'a and that the skills of his people would be needed in the coming years. For some reason this struck Aryant deeply and he took it to heart. When he returned to his training with his lightsaber he took greater care and paid more attention quickly making up for lost time.
His master as a padawan fostered this and helped him grow into a skilled swordsman, atleast for a padawan. Studying his culture in private the ancient Mandalorian codes of honor resonated with Aryant and he would stay up for hours into the night trying to reconcile them with the views and truths he had been taught as a Jedi.
Guided by the canons of Honor and his Jedi Master Aryant became a Jedi knight, the Jedi teaching him to always wish for and make peace, and the canons helping him to prepare for war.
Motivation
Motivation: Challenge: Worthy Opponent (KoF 32)
One of the central tenets of the ancient canons of honors is strength, and overcoming past weakness. Aryant wishes to fight and defeat someone truly powerful to prove his own strength
Morality
Duty: Combat Victory 20
Morality: 69 Honor/Naivety
Aryant follows the canons of honor and actively tries to meld the traditions of his Mandalorian ancestors with that of the Jedi he grew up with, this has lead to his outlook being focused highly on honor and the right way of being, so much so that he often forgets others are fallible and believes all those he works with are as honorable as he, he finds it hard to believe anyone but his enemies could do wrong.
