Background
CT-09-8913 otherwise known as "Talkback" was part of the first batch of clones dispatched to Geonosis. She served as her squad’s communications specialist, but demonstrated she had a head for tactics and leadership after her squad’s sergeant was killed in action. During the war, she continued to be promoted to fill in gaps in the command structure until reaching the rank of Captain of the 481st.
Order 66 shook her to her core and the changes from the Republic she had fought and bled for to the Empire made retirement an easy decision. She explored the galaxy for a time, tried to settle down, but kept seeing people hurting and in need. When she got wind of an Alliance to Restore the Republic forming, she signed up to do her part.
Her name comes from her habit of talking back to her superiors. As early as training she was critiquing trainers’ strategies and advice.
Motivation
Belief (Freedom for the galaxy)
Quest (To give her brothers the retirement they always deserved)
Talkback wants her share of the credits not for herself but to help fund the Alliance's ongoing struggle and to help her fellow clones.
Duties
Intelligence: The PC knows that every victory hinges on knowing as much about the enemy as possible. She is driven to gather any and all potentially useful data, wishing to locate vital and vulnerable targets for Rebellion forces to strike at. She not only wants to know what the Imperial military factions are up to, but also the state of technological research, economic policies, and other aspects of Separatist strength.
Description
Physically, Talkback is a woman in her late 60s with weathered features and long, silver grey hair that she usually has tied back in a braid. She bears dozens of scars from hundreds of battles and walks with a noticeable limp.
The white of her armor is dull, pockmarked, scarred, and painted. The purple designs of the 481st run along the bulk of her armor. On her shoulder, in aurebesh, are the words "She/her". Finely stenciled vines and flowers cover her left greave while the right is plain. Her right bracer bears a long list of four digit numbers, clone numbers, many of which are struck through. She wears a kama around her hips, her DC-15 on her left hip while her DC-17 sits in a crossdraw position on her right alongside a vibrorang.
