Moppo Wupps translates from Gunganese as "Sad, Talented Crafter."
Lamenting the lack of Jedi from childhood stories of Separatist occupation of Naboo, Wupps also recalls how droids factored heavily into the galactic war.
He obtained assignment papers from another Technician during a game of chance (cubes), and fed his gambling addiction during any down time. His use of droids and other remote devices fuels his passion and affinity with computer mechanics; Wupps envisions himself as a master builder who will replace his weaker body with cybernetics and other mechanical enhancements, and rely on his programmable, predictable droid-friends. He has heard of the Force, and deems his body unworthy of such mystical affinity--perhaps he can build himself into something equally formidable but much less mysterious. His current "pet" droid records visual data from an aerial view, which has aided him in more than one fight and Sabbac game.
